Dave, PDFs, and other nonsense
I’m not much to get “political” or join in on any internet warfare, so I will keep this brief:
Its been a busy week because I’m taking next week off for vacation. Thus, little blog traffic as of late. The Tookster will have to supply content by himself next week.
Dave was a great guy. I took a class of his. I’m glad I got to meet him. There is little else that could be said by me that hasn’t already been said. Both original DMs are gone. May the tabletops quake with the sound of a million dice at their passing.
It is sad to see a company have to react so drastically and WotC did. I understand, and maybe even empathise with their motivations. I question their execution. Truth be told, I’m not really angry at them. I’m angry at the pirates that have to ruin it for everyone else. As a side note (and not to sound too pretentious) I have purchased every single 4ed book I own from local sources. They always have copies ready on the release date (sometimes the day before,) and there is nothing like having a good, solid book in your hands. I hope all of you less fortunate folks find some acceptable recourse.
